Elisha the prophet, deployment & resiliency

Some wonder if the deployments are taking it’s toll on our Soldiers (not to mention the Families that remain behind). Under the strain of repeated deployments, Soldiers experience “stress” from boredom, compassion fatigue or simple exhaustion. And a case in point, in the news is the tragic story of Staff Sgt. For those of you that enjoy discovering what Army Chaplains do, have no fear, we will continue posting and the page will be under the … Continue reading

Or perhaps you, like me, from time to time write down goals that seem absurd–like Habakkuk who wrote impossible goals down on a stone tablet– or where it seemingly is humanly impossible to achieve your goals. And yet, how many … Continue reading

clump of clay

Have you ever felt the pressure of the Father’s hands molding, shaping you into something extraordinary? Have you been through circumstances (or for some, tragedies) where you feel overwhelmly pressed? Have you been through the trials of fire that life has to offer? I have. This last few weeks, I have the privileged in being enrolled in the Master’s Resiliency Trainer certification course. The materials is based on the Complete Soldiers Fitness program, a program … Continue reading
